Dar Williams, a female alt-folk performer, will perform at the State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave., at 8 tonight.
Williams began her career in 1993 when she independently released The Honesty Room, which was picked up by Razor and Tie records. She has released several albums since and has toured with renowned artists such as Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin and Ani DiFranco. Tickets are $33 for the general public and $27 for students.
