Police Log

• Burglary: A resident of Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 417 E. Prospect Ave., reported a burglary to State College police at 1:14 p.m. Monday.
He said the side door of the house had been kicked open and the rooms were rummaged through. Before any theft can be reported, residents will have to return for the fall to indicate what is missing, police said.

• Theft: An unknown person stole two Mac computers from the Mount Nittany Middle School, 646 Brandywine Drive, some time between July 3 and July 26, the State College Police Department said. The computers, each valued at $1,180, were reported stolen at 11:35 a.m. Monday, police said.

• Theft: A computer and a DVD player were stolen from Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, 329 E. Prospect Ave., the State College Police Department said.
The theft was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Monday and is still under investigation, police said.
