Forecast DiscussionMay will start out on a sour note as a
stationary front lingers to our south. Mainly cloudy skies with cooler
conditions will move into the region today. A stray shower is expected
this afternoon. Rain showers and thunderstorms will arrive this evening
as an area of low pressure develops. Once the system passes, partly
cloudy skies will return tomorrow. High pressure will build into the
Northeast on Thursday. As a result, an abundance of sunshine and
seasonable temperatures will persist for the remainder of the week.
