A recent study found a gap in what high school teachers are teaching college-bound students and what professors think first-year students should know.

Results of a University of Florida study, released on the heels of a record-breaking year for State College in terms of DUI arrests, show that threat of punishment does not deter people from driving under the influence.

The Undergraduate Student Government dissolved this semester, but some of its members will continue representing students in the University Park Undergraduate Association after receiving the most votes for several positions during the election last Wednesday.

Citing insufficient evidence, a judge decided yesterday to throw out 47 of the 60 code violations filed against local landlord Rodney Hendricks following a Nov. 14 fire at the Marvin Gardens apartment complex.

In separate incidents, two Penn State students reported they were sexually assaulted by men unknown to them over the weekend, according to State College police.
