Members of Phi Delta Theta fraternity held a volleyball tournament Friday afternoon to raise awareness and money to combat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

In the fall of 1983, one of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity's new members kept a secret from the rest of the fraternity.

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) trust decided the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) had not met the terms of the merger agreement between the two groups at a meeting Friday night.

It takes a special kind of athlete to compete at the national level in collegiate athletics.

The postseason future of the No. 41 Penn State men's tennis team hangs in a cloud of uncertainty.

"Every hole, every day, was like skiing a double black diamond trail," Penn State men's golf head coach Greg Nye said. "That's how difficult this golf course was."

The family and friends who watched the NFL draft with Levi Brown became so excited about the possibility of the offensive lineman being selected No. 5 overall by the Arizona Cardinals that when it actually happened, Brown couldn't hear his name called on the television at his Virginia home.

A season full of disappointment has finally come to an end for the Penn State women's golf team.

The No. 15 Penn State women's lacrosse team's conference struggles continued on Friday night, as the Lions fell to No. 13 Johns Hopkins, 17-10, and failed to earn an American Lacrosse Conference (ALC) victory in their regular season finale.

An elevator outside the Penn State police office chimed open around 10:20 Friday morning, revealing six Penn State football players who were to be charged with felonies for their alleged involvement in an off-campus fight.

Following the No. 7 Penn State men's volleyball team's win on senior night on April 6, senior captain Alex Gutor talked about the night's festivities and how he wasn't looking at that match as his last home match.

Dan Saltsman was the last of nine seniors called onto Jeffrey Field to be recognized Saturday night, so he only had a minute or two to reflect on his four years at Penn State before the Nittany Lions played St. Joseph's.

In the standings, the Penn State softball team split its four games this weekend, but the final homestand was still successful.

In what can be considered the toughest competition the Penn State men's and women's track and field teams have faced this season, the historic Penn Relays yielded some of the strongest performances of the outdoor campaign, including three new school records.

Late-inning rallies had become commonplace for the Penn State baseball team.
