Police Log

Suspicious men: A group of women called State College police yesterday at 2:12 a.m. after a young man dressed in a security uniform and an older man demanded to be let into their apartment, 255 S. Atherton St. Police said it is unknown if the men were actual security guards and are not sure what caused the women to react as they did.

Criminal Mischief: Three men knocked on the door of a residence on the 200 block of Shady Drive at 10:54 p.m. Saturday but were gone on arrival, State College police said. Police said a burning paper bag containing feces was found on the doorstep.

Lost Cash: An individual reported losing a white envelope containing $800, State College police said. The individual said the envelope was lost at Wal-Mart, 373 Benner Pike.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
