The No. 7 Penn State men's volleyball team won it's ninth consecutive EIVA title Saturday night. Updated 5:57 p.m.


The Buffalo Bills selected Paul Posluszny, Penn State's former star linebacker and all-time tackles leader, with the 34st pick of the the NFL Draft this afternoon. Updated 5:57 p.m.


My Chemical Romance has cancelled its concert at the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) scheduled for tonight due to "severe food poisoning," Bernie Punt, director of public relations for the BJC, said. Updated 4:54 p.m.

Penn State football player Jerome Hayes, one of six players charged today in connection with an April 1 assault in a downtown apartment, told State College police the scene shortly after midnight inside the third-floor residence was "crazy" and "like a brawl." Updated 4:30 p.m.


Penn State coach Joe Paterno is "very concerned" about felony charges filed this morning against six of his players, he said in a statement this afternoon. Updated 4:09 p.m.
