UPUA candidate offended Penn State United Nations

I would like to respond to the unprovoked attack on Penn State United Nations at the most recent UPUA presidential debate. Gavin Keirans had no right to attack a club he has never even been in contact with until he started running against Daniel Hadas for UPUA president. To truly understand undergraduate students and undergraduate organizations, Mr. Keirans must realize that not all groups "provide service," and in order for his "collaboration" to work he will have to reconcile with those that do not. Although many groups do not provide service for the students of University Park, PSUN does. PSUN gives a forum for the discussion and debate of events happening around the world, and it allows students to enhance their understanding of international affairs through competition with other universities.

I believe that better understanding of the world is a service, but apparently Mr. Keirans disagrees. If the regard for student organizations Mr. Keirans has given to PSUN is any example of his leadership, he would make a horrible UPUA president and leader at University Park.
