If you ask anyone in my graduate school program, they could tell you without batting an eye that I am a Penn State alumna. I am open about my Penn State pride all year long. However, today after reading the article about the plans for the Blue-White game on Saturday, I am beaming with extra pride. It is truly touching to see all of the students uniting to support those affected by what happened at Virginia Tech. Penn State and VT are so similar when it comes to pride and school spirit, so it is easy to understand why Penn State alumni and students have an extra special place in our hearts for the victims and families.
