Police Log

Theft/Criminal Mischief: State College police reported that unknown actors tampered with a generator resulting in burning out its alternator, and threw a pump into Spring Creek on the 100 block of East College Avenue overnight into Monday. The equipment was owned by the Centre County Sewer Authority and valued at $5,500, police said.

Car Theft: A tan 2003 Honda Accord was reported stolen from the parking lot of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 417 E. Prospect Ave., Monday evening, State College police said. The Pennsylvania license plate number is GBG1579.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
