Police arrest suspect in Toftrees shooting

Police have arrested one man and are searching for another in connection with the Feb. 7 shooting of a woman at her Toftrees apartment, according to a press release.

Kenneth Harrell, 18, of Brooklyn was arrested Saturday by Hollidaysburg police on seven different charges: criminal attempt homicide, criminal conspiracy/robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition, according to a press release.

Police said the 24-year-old woman was shot at point-blank range at about 9:30 p.m. in her third-floor apartment at 319 Toftrees Ave.

Both Patton Township police and New York police are also searching for Enrique Rodriguez, 18, of Brooklyn, in connection with the shooting. Check back for more details.
