Forecast Discussion
A rainy, gloomy day is on tap for State College today. A low pressure
system is currently bringing periods of rain this morning, but most of
the heavy showers should be gone by this afternoon. Rain or snow showers
will linger into tonight when temperatures are forecast to drop into the
low 30s. We will have a brief respite tomorrow as mostly cloudy and
breezy conditions will prevail. However, a second system will approach
the region as early as Saturday afternoon. Whether we get rain or snow
will depend on the track and speed of the system, which could linger
into early next week.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
