Forecast DiscussionToday, State College will finally see the
snow flurries cease. In place of the snow flurries, though, will be a
soaking rain developing later today into tonight. The rain will continue
into Thursday, but should be quickly ending by noon. The sky will remain
mostly cloudy for the remainder of the night with a few lingering
scattered rain and snow showers. The skies will clear for Friday and be
the first day of the week relatively close to the average temperature.
There will be a return to the dampness this weekend with another coastal
storm. Fortunately, the accumulating snows should be over.
