Forecast Discussion
Brisk, cloudy and unseasonably cool conditions will linger over the
region from today through the weekend. Highs will hover in the upper
30s, nearly 20 degrees below normal. A large area of low pressure will
dominate the eastern half of the U.S., locking the cold, moist air in
place. Lake effect snow showers are more typical in late fall and early
winter, but this air mass will be cold enough to produce some snow
showers over the western part of the state. A few rays of sunshine may
peak through the clouds, but don't expect much more than overcast skies
through Easter.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
