Forecast DiscussionThrow the mid-May mentality out the window.
An abrupt end is in store, as winter is preparing to return to our area.
The showers and thunderstorms accompanying the front will end by midday,
but breezy conditions and dropping temperatures will promote a chilly
end to an otherwise spring-like start. Winter's bite won't end there
either, as temperatures more suitable for February hold strong through
the end of the week. Short bouts of flurries and snow showers will
develop Wednesday night into Thursday with no accumulations. The weather
will remain cloudy and cold for the rest of the week.
