Laz-Hirsch also said that it's a good place to stop because of its geographical location, which is between a lot of other cities but not really near anything else.
Jesse Ruegg, who is the Roustabout! promoter, said that there are several reasons he keeps booking the band.
"They're definitely a crowd-pleaser," Ruegg said. "They're great at involving the audience and have a great stage presence. They're always on."
Ruegg said Locksley plays "rhythm and blues influenced straight-ahead rock songs" and that its music was heavily influenced by the British Invasion of the 1960s.
"It reminds me of the golden age of rock n' roll," Ruegg said. "They come dressed to the nines and ready to play. There's not a lot of messing around. They really have that professionalism you don't always see in bands these days."
The show will also feature Scissors for Lefty, a band composed of two sets of brothers from San Francisco. Bryan Garza, who sings and plays guitar for the band, said Scissors for Lefty is a "flirtatious band" who plays "very playful, left of center music" and "pillow talk pop."
"We like to make people blush," Garza said, calling Scissors for Lefty an "anti-pretentious band."
While it is Scissors for Lefty's first time in State College, Garza said that "if all goes well, we'll be back here soon."
While Wednesday night Roustabout! shows usually feature two bands and a DJ, a miscommunication with a booking agent means tonight's show will feature a third band, Harlan, which has also played here before.
"It's more rock n' roll for everybody," Ruegg said.
