Five bands are set to take the stage to rock the crowd, and Snyder's band, Waterstreet, will be starting first at 6. After a half hour-long set, the band The Hope Fallacy will play.
"People coming to the show should expect to hear some upbeat, passionate music," Ben Babb, Waterstreet drummer, said. "It's an awesome venue, and I'm excited to play there to see what the fans think."
Hopes High will play next, at 7 p.m., with Acalasia following at 8.
The last performance of the evening will be by The Nightcrawlers, who will hit the stage at 9.
"The Nightcrawlers have a lot of music they can play, so we're hoping they can go for like an hour to an hour-and-a-half," Snyder said.
In addition to the concerts, SoZo's will also be hosting a Nintendo Wii competition and a texting tournament.
Snyder said the games on tap for the Wii tournament will include boxing, baseball, tennis and bowling.
For the texting tournament, it will be a round-robin setup, with anyone able to partake in the competition for a small fee. A message will be shown to the crowd, and the first person to text it to Snyder's phone wins.
"The competitions will take place in between the bands sets," Snyder said. "It's just going to be a fun way to raise money."
Winners of both the Wii competition and the texting tournament will receive prizes and gift certificates from downtown businesses, including Sprint/Nextel.
Tickets for the event cost $15 and can be purchased at the door. This price would include taking part in the Wii competition.
"It's going to be a long night," Snyder said. "But it's going to be awesome."
