Quizno's Subs reopens for business

Quizno's Subs, 317 E. Beaver Ave., reopened its doors at 11 Friday morning after a year and a half-long hiatus. The store underwent renovations and now offers salad, soup and desserts in addition to subs. They are open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Storeowner Daric Palmer said the first three days of business were "very busy," adding that business was "crazy over the weekend, especially late at night when everyone was out and about." The store can be reached at 689-3300.

UPUA begins officer election process

Students interested in running for office in the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) may pick up registration packets from the UPUA office in the HUB-Robeson Center, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The packets must be returned to the election commission office by April 6.

Candidates are not permitted to begin public campaigns until April 11.
