"We're not a normal rock band," O'Reilly said. "It's something you might not have seen before."
O'Reilly described the band as indie pop electronica with a lot of keyboards and harmonies, calling it "short, snappy pop songs with a kick." The band tries to have as much fun as possible on stage, he added.
"We try to create a good feeling in the room," he said.
Shaun Robinson, the other half of the band, said he feels the same way.
"We don't take ourselves too seriously," Robinson said. "We just want to leave people with a smile on their faces."
Robinson said he promised the show would be a fun one.
"If they're anywhere near human, and they like to dance -- which is good -- we'll make them dance," he said.
Jesse Ruegg, promoter and booker for Roustabout! and part-owner of Chronic Town, said the band was great last time it was here.
"It's just a two-piece band, but they sound really full," he said.
Jeff VanFossan, Roustabout! organizer and promoter and another Chronic Town part-owner, said he enjoys the rock and roll dance music of Oppenheimer.
"They were easily the best two-piece band I've ever seen," VanFossan said.
The bandmates agreed that they both just love making music.
"It's everything," O'Reilly said. "It's the reason I wake up in the morning."
