Three hundred students from all 20 commonwealth campuses and University Park rallied today in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania capitol building in Harrisburg to show support for higher state appropriations to Penn State.

Speakers including State Rep. Scott Conklin (D-Centre), State Rep. Mike Fleck (R- Huntington) and alumnus Michael Cooper spoke to the assembled students.

"Why isn't this legislature doing more for the Pennsylvania State University?" Jerry Livingston, Council of Commonwealth Student Governments (CCSG) President, said.

Representative Conklin agreed: "Let's do the follow through."
