Everyone who has written in to complain about Adam Clair's review of the Nickelback concert is missing the point. It was, after all, a review.

You say Clair should be an unbiased journalist, but a concert review is supposed to be biased. It's a statement of opinion.

As for those who said Clair should listen to more diversified genres of music: The reason why Clair gave Nickelback such a bad review is because he listens to diversified music.

He knows what's groundbreaking and orginal, and he knows Nickelback is neither of those. Nickelback's music is bland and repetitive; almost every Nickelback song sounds the same.

Whether you agree or not, Adam Clair is just doing his job. If every concert review sang the band's praises, why would we need reviews at all?
