All apparel is current merchandise that will be sold at 30 to 70 percent off in-store prices. The sale is through the boutique Three Sirens in Center City, Philadelphia. The apparel sold at the sale will be such that you would find a Neiman Marcus and ShopBop.com.
"All of the clothing at the sale is going to be current, new stuff that's in the stores right now," Brooke Berson, (sophomore-psychology and dentistry) Pi Beta Phi sorority vice president of philanthropy, said.
Some of the designers include Alice and Trixie, Autumn Cashmere, Aenata, Born in California Jeans, Botkier Handbags, Citizens of Humanity, Joie, Kooba Handbags, Paige Premium Denim, Primp, Splendid, Sky, Tibi, True Religion, Velvet and Vince.
"The woman in charge of the sale [from the boutique] said there will be a lot more. And there will be everything from tops to jeans to handbags and lots of other apparel," Berson said.
The sale will benefit the First Book drive. This drive helps needy children to give them the opportunity to own books and to learn to read well.
"The proceeds are going to First Book, which is an international nonprofit organization that gives children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own new books," Berson said.
