Nickelback review unfair

This is in response to the review "Repetition plagues Nickelback show" in yesterday's paper. I went to the Nickelback concert to see the opening acts and then go find something more interesting to do than listening to Nickelback. After enjoying Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace I figured I'd stood around long enough and might as well see what Nickelback had to offer. The time it took for Nickelback to take the stage was a great move as the eager fans' excitement reached a peak point.

The "obnoxious" cannon blast was the perfect introduction to ensure that the crowd was ready for a great show. I have no intentions of going out and buying any of their CDs, but I will give them credit for putting on a great show that made me feel better about dropping $50 on a general admissions ticket. All the black T-shirts that you were seeing from press row may have something to do with the fact that the cheapest Nickelback T-shirts for sale were black.

Before critiquing another musical performance, I have a few suggestions. Learn more about the genre and the bands performing before attending the show. Lastly, it helps to go in with an open mind and unbiased opinions.
