Police: Men attempt apartment entry

On two occasions this weekend, unknown persons attempted to kick in apartment doors at Meridian Apartments, 636 E. College Ave. and 747 E. Beaver Ave., State College police said.

Both times, the residents told police their apartments were not entered. Following the incident at 2:15 a.m. yesterday, the apartment resident, 636 E. College Ave., told police the assailants were two men, one white and one black. No suspects have been identified in either incident.

Underage female falls, injures ankle

A 19-year-old female was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness around 9:15 p.m. Friday after she fell from a retaining wall at 320 E. Beaver Ave. and injured her ankle, State College police said. She was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

Resident urinates on security guard

A State College man was cited for public intoxication after jumping in front of cars on the 600 block of East Prospect Avenue at 12:38 a.m. Saturday morning, State College police said. While at the hospital, the man urinated on a security guard, according to police.
