Simple Assault: A student was punched in the face and received a laceration by the left eyebrow early Sunday morning following a fight involving about 30 men behind Lulu's Nightspot, 129 S. Pugh St., State College police said. Police said there was a suspect, but charges had not yet been filed.

Burglary: A laptop was stolen from a Hiester Hall resident's unsecured dorm room while he slept, Penn State University Police said. Police estimated the value of the loss at $1,000.
