Forecast Discussion
The relatively balmy conditions in the mid 40s we’ve witnessed the past
few days will take a respite as we return to near seasonable
temperatures. Some wet snow showers are possible today as a cold front
slides through the area, but with temperatures above freezing there
should be little or no accumulation. Friday and Saturday will see a
return to sunshine with highs in the 30s. With a strong storm forming in
the nation’s midsection over the weekend, we can expect a wintry mix
beginning Sunday, with the potential to produce significant sleet or
freezing rain.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
