Letter to the Editor
Saving children's lives most important part

I think everyone complaining about those who take pride in their involvement with Thon need to get over it.

Perhaps we should tell the corporations that donate thousands of dollars to Thon that they are going to be listed as "Company #225" in the program and they should be satisfied with that.

The fact is, there are people who truly care about the cause and don't need the recognition, and there are some who do.

I think it's the people who are so bothered by everyone else's pride that need to stop and think about the real issue. If recognition and competition motivates people to get out and raise money for children dying of cancer, then I think I can live with that.
