Forecast Discussion
The cold streak has ended! With temperatures reaching 46 degrees yesterday, the
warmer atmosphere is felt across the State College area with
temperatures 5 degrees above normal. The warmth should be mildly subdued
today, and continue to get colder throughout the week. The low pressure
system provided us with winds from the south and the rain showers last
night. As the system fades away, the skies will clear, and today will be
rather pleasant. The pleasant weather will be rather short-lived as
another system causes unsettled weather on Thursday. Winds will scream
from the north Thursday night bringing in colder air once again as
another system affects our region toward the end of the weekend.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
