Fire marshal investigating trailor fire

A house trailer burned to the ground Monday afternoon after a local man, Jacob Shuey, burned paper near it, State College police said.

Police said no one was injured in the fire, which occurred in the 1400 block of Benner Pike. However, police said some rabbits inside the trailer may have been killed. The fire appears accidental but the fire marshal is investigating, police said.

'Cable Guy' pre-sale tickets available

There will be an Internet student pre-sale for tickets to the Larry the Cable Guy "The Right to Bare Arms" tour starting today at noon until tonight at 11. Larry the Cable Guy will be coming to the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, April 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets are being sold on the BJC Web site at bjc.psu.edu. The tickets will be sold for $20 and only one ticket per Penn State University Park student ID will be allowed.
