DA to announce judge candidacy

Centre County District Attorney Steve Sloane will officially announce his candidacy for Centre County judge today.

Sloane, a 1985 Penn State graduate and 1989 Dickinson School of Law graduate, has served in the district attorney's office for 15 years, he said.

A press conference will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Nittany room at the Nittany Lion Inn, he said.

Continuous bus service starts today

CATA will be running continuous service throughout the Interfraternity/Panhellenic Council Dance Marathon weekend, beginning today at 6 p.m. and lasting until Sunday at 6 p.m. Both the Blue Loop and White Loop will be running, with frequency being between five and 20 minutes. Both the Blue and White Loops will have stops at the Bryce Jordan Center.
