For the love of Oden
Dominating frosh to step foot on BJC floor

The Vikings' "Odin" was known for both his "poetry and inspiration," as well as his "fury and madness."

As a winter storm, not uncommon in the regions of origin for the Norse mythology, envelops University Park, another "Oden" will make his presence felt -- for the first and possibly final time.

Oden, considered by many to be the greatest freshman center of all-time, and possibly next year's top pick in the NBA draft, performs poetry in the post.

His fury is felt by opposing big men when he slams down thunderous dunks. Penn State has an epic challenge in front of them tonight after the 19-year-old, 7-foot center jumps for the opening tip. No Valentine's Day love will be forthcoming.

Will the Nittany Lions be up to the biggest challenge they have faced on their home court all season?
