Forecast Discussion
The unusually meager amount of snowfall that has been recorded so far
this winter will come to an abrupt end as the first significant
snowstorm of this winter arrives. Light snow will begin this morning,
and will intensify through the day. The heaviest snow is expected
Tuesday night, with sleet possibly mixing in at times. Blustery breezes
will cause wind chills to plummet to near zero degrees. At the
conclusion of this Valentine's Day Snowstorm tomorrow, 10 to 15 inches
of snow accumulation will have fallen in Happy Valley. The remainder of
the week will be frigid with gusty breezes.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
