What is happening to this town? I opened the newspaper on Friday morning and saw the headline "Woman shot in face at Toftrees residence."

I thought the Josephy Ventura case from last year was a complete fluke for State College, and now it seems like there's a connection between the various crimes.

Since I've been at Penn State, I've never been afraid to walk through downtown at night.

That is, until now.

I shouldn't have to worry about having my wallet stolen or being shot in the middle of Centre County.

Something has changed in State College, and I'd like to know what it is.
