I recently parked in a lot on campus to quickly run into the Business Building for literally four minutes, including walking from the lot to the building and back. I returned to my car to see I'd recieved my second parking ticket of the semester. Sorry, but I live off campus and I am not waiting for a bus that is usually five to 10 minutes late in cold weather just so I can drop off a paper to a professor and repeating the whole process of waiting for the bus to get back home. I understand we are able to park at the stadium, but even that is ridiculous when you just want to park near a building for a few minutes. What about a warning where they mark your tire and if you still haven't moved after 15 minutes then you get a ticket? Seems like they are out to prove something this semester.
