Forecast Discussion
The region will remain within winter’s firm grasp throughout the weekend
and into next week. Scattered snow showers this afternoon may persist
into tomorrow, with generally light accumulations of a dusting to an
inch or two. A storm will develop off the Mid-Atlantic coast, but should
remain too far out to sea to impact our area with any significant snow.
An arctic air mass will settle over the Eastern U.S. through early next
week, bringing perhaps the coldest air of the season. Nighttime
temperatures could approach zero by Monday, with afternoon highs
hovering in the teens.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
