Is the administration serious about the hand scanners at Rec hall? ("Rec Hall fitness center may handprint users," Jan. 30). We can't build enough dormitories for all the students who want to live on campus, Webmail 2 is iffy at best, Webmail lite is missing in action, they can't stop over-accepting students and student activity funding is getting cut. Yet somehow we need handprint scanners at Rec Hall? That seems like it should be a low priority.
