CATA buses are lacking

Where is the White Loop? It's 8:44 a.m. and a full White Loop bypasses the Meridian bus stop. It's 8:53 a.m. and, yup, still standing there as another full White Loop passes. This is when we begin to run to get to our 9:05 classes. A great start to our Monday mornings, to say the least.

Many students waiting in the freezing cold temperatures Monday morning checked their watches and cell phones every time another full White Loop passed by the Meridian stop. I would like to know how many students were late the second week of classes because CATA buses couldn't handle the number of students after the predicted snow squall. I had to walk to class for the third time since the beginning of the new semester because the White Loop was full or running a little late. I am a full supporter of CATA and it normally saves me a lot of time and a lot of walking. I wish they were more prepared for the cold weather. The onset of students who need to make their classes is not going to stop. Maybe in the weeks ahead, the White Loop will actually be able to stop at the Meridian and renew my faith in CATA.
