Expert opinion trumps mathematics undergrad

I understand that the past few years have brought an unprecedented close-mindedness. But has it gotten so bad that we'll even try to censor scientists who dare contradict the prevailing worldview? ("Global warming overhyped," Jan. 17) I find it refreshing to read an expert opinion that challenges the popular assumptions that pliable students eagerly accept. Sorry, Mr. Trainor, but I'm more inclined to trust a professional meteorologist over a mathematics undergraduate when it comes to global climate change.
