Police Log

Criminal Mischief: Charges are pending against a woman who State College police said kicked a woman and broke a window at The Ramada Inn, 1450 S. Atherton St., around midnight yesterday.

Theft: A Penn State student reported to State College police that her black Mountain Hardwear coat containing a digital camera and wallet, valued at about $500, was stolen from the Acacia fraternity, 24 Locust Lane, Friday night.

Burglary: Penn State student residents at 343 E. Prospect Ave. returned from winter break to find burglars had entered their apartment via an unlocked window, State College police said. The victims reported that the burglars set off a fire extinguisher, left fast food wrappers at the premises and ordered five adult movies.

Simple Assault: State College police responded Thursday to a simple assault incident involving a brother and sister on the 100 block of Willtree Drive. Police said as the domestic dispute escalated, a 14-year-old girl picked up a 10-inch butcher knife and began chasing her 16-year-old brother through the house.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
