Half-hearted resolutions crowding campus gyms
I have been attending the gym five days a week all year and have had no problem getting around or getting on equipment. When you go at the same time every day you always see the same people and get to know who regularly goes. With that said, I hate New Year's resolutions. Now that it's January, everyone now has to have a New Year's resolution. That means that now I have to wait in line to get in the gym. More power to the people who are going to stick with it and keep attending, but everyone knows that many of them won't be there in a week or so. This just makes it more difficult to move around and have access to the equipment for everyone else who regularly goes and others who aren't going to get lazy and stop attending after a week. So for everyone determined to stick with a gym schedule, more power to you. As for someone who won't stick with it, stop over crowding the gym and try to get that membership refunded for your parents because it's probably going to go to waste. Kyle Rader
