Forecast Discussion
The sunny but cold weather that gave us a pleasant afternoon yesterday
will not last long. Clouds will once again be on the increase this
afternoon ahead of a coastal system. This storm will skirt the eastern
edge of the state, giving State College only a slight chance of a flurry
tonight and early tomorrow. Winds will pick up Friday night as this
system exits to the northwest, and temperatures will remain seasonably
cold through the weekend. The clouds will briefly clear late Saturday,
but another storm will provide us with more gray skies and possible snow
early next week.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
