Police Log - Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007

Theft: A Penn State student returned to his unlocked apartment on the 700 block of East Beaver Avenue Sunday to find a Microsoft Xbox, two controllers and a PDA missing, according to State College police. No value was available and no suspects have been named.

Harassment: A State College man reported to the State College police that he received a harassing letter because he is the alleged assailant in a sex-related crime against a minor, police said.

Police said the anonymous author wrote that he or she hopes the defendant "gets what he deserves" and suggested he "do everyone a favor and kill himself."
