Forecast Discussion
Winter has finally arrived as the first real arctic air invaded the
Northeast yesterday evening. The strong cold front, though strung of
moisture, shifted winds to the northwest and is now bringing in cold
Canadian air. Today’s forecast looks cold yet seasonable as temperatures
continue to fall throughout the day. Several snow showers are not out of
the question as the lake effect machine begins to churn. Winds will also
pick up today and tonight, with lows overnight reaching the upper teens.
Temperatures will remain cold for the remainder of the week, but no
major snow is forecast.
