Penn State University Police said two Penn State students were arraigned yesterday on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and recklessly endangering another person.
Police said Tristan Maschke, of York, and Selim Hanif, of Cairo, Egypt, were throwing rocks at about 9 p.m. Tuesday from the roof of Borland Laboratory after each had each taken a sign from inside the building. As of yesterday, they were each being held in the Centre County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail. Their preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
