Police Log

Criminal Mischief: Chi Phi fraternity, 360 E. Hamilton Road, reported to the State College Police Department that an unknown person left a pig's head at its front door sometime before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the fraternity, the residence has suffered damage during the past several weeks, police said. Police said they have no suspects.

Retail Theft: A 19-year-old man was cited for retail theft and underage possession after allegedly stealing four cases of beer at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday from Happy Valley Refreshments, 420 Boal Ave. The man was running from the scene with the beer but gave himself up minutes later, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
