Theft: The State College Police Department reported that an unknown person stole $890 worth of items at about 5 p.m. Sunday from a car parked at 123 W. Nittany Ave. A person damaged the locks and stole luggage valued at $500, running shoes valued at $90 and an iPod valued at $150, according to police. Another car parked at the same location was entered in the same manner, and a pair of Gucci sunglasses, valued at $150, was taken, police said.
Theft: An Xbox, valued at $400, was taken from an unlocked apartment at about 1 p.m. Sunday on the 700 block of East Beaver Avenue, police said. Several purses were taken from an unlocked apartment in the adjoining building on the 600 block of East College Avenue at about 11 a.m. Police said they believe the incidents are related.
Damage: A Jeep's door was slashed at about 4 p.m. Sunday at 417 E. Prospect Ave. Another car's window was shattered at about 3 p.m. Sunday at 408 E. Fairmount Ave., according to police.
