Five-year-old Bijan Harandi stood beside the tracks as the train rounded the bend, when suddenly something went wrong -- train cars careened off the track, barely missing Harandi as they flew off a cliff and crashed onto the ground below, smashing into pieces.

Katelyn Holmes, an Undergraduate Student Government (USG) senator, was appointed representative to the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA), despite a history of disagreements between members of the two organizations --disagreements she said won't affect her performance in UPUA.

After holding off winless Morgan State, 80-71, Saturday at the Bryce Jordan Center, junior guard Mike Walker was asked if the Penn State men's basketball team is a victim of playing to the level of its competition.

Shellane Ogoshi, Hofstra's 5-foot-2 setter, was relieved to play in front of a crowd that understood the rules of volleyball.

After going into a five-game skid, the Penn State women's basketball team was in desperate need of a spark to lead the team out of an offensive slump.
