SEVERE WEATHER RISK
This morning's weather will seem light and mild, but just wait for the
late afternoon. Severe weather will storm through the region between the
hours of 3-7 PM as a line of heavy showers and thunderstorms. The
storm's main threat will be strong damaging wind gusts in excess of
60mph. This event has the potential to damage and uproot trees and cause
sporadic power outages. Flash flooding is also possible due to already
saturated soil. Stay tuned to the National Weather Service for future
warnings and updates.
