If Paul Thomspon is so worried about his school work maybe he shouldn't shell out $160 for football tickets every year ("Football is over; it's time to focus on school," Nov. 20). Maybe being an American Studies major is not challenging enough during the week for him to want to unwind a little bit on a Saturday afternoon and be a part of the greatest atmosphere in all of college athletics. Football Saturdays give students something to look forward to during a long week of studying and taking exams. Paul should have gone to the University of Pittsburgh if he doesn't want to waste all his Saturdays on football.
