Penn State Chicken Man says goodbye to students

I realize now that I was breaking the rules and I will honor the law and stop ("Student cited for 'fowl' act," Nov. 20). Disorderly conduct is not something I would like to promote. I must say the University Police were very nice, respectful and professional in handling the situation with me even when trying to hold in their laughs.

I'm happy it lasted as long as it did because I know all good things come to an end.

It's interesting being a chicken man because your whole life as you walk by people you can truly know if the person who passed you is a person you would like to meet just by their expressions or lack there of.

To the humorless teachers and the "tough" tech guy at the Forum, I hope for my sake our paths never cross in the future because I would never want to have your characters and personalities rub off on me.

I couldn't see living life without humor, but I guess what you don't know can't hurt you. If you went about the situation differently and told the university to tell me to stop earlier and inform me that what I was doing was wrong, then maybe I wouldn't have a fine to pay.

A simple request to stop is all that it would have taken.

It is not like my name is a mystery. Your co-workers encouraged me from the beginning to come into classes and I always made sure to look in and not interrupt a test before I make my 10 seconds or less "disruptive" appearance. The outliers here are you, sir and madam. It is people like you that make this world so boring and uneventful.

I only hope that you don't pass on your mundane disease to my fellow classmates and peers at Penn State. I now say to all the chicken haters and lovers out there, "What say you?"

Goodbye to all who have supported me with laughter.

Just Facebook the Chicken Man. I will miss those smiles and I will definitely miss Penn State.
